About Us
Abertay Housing Association's aim is to provide the highest standard of accommodation and service to our customers in an efficient, caring and friendly environment. We continually seek to improve our services to enhance the quality of life in our communities by listening to our customers in order to meet their changing needs and aspirations.
The Association was formed over ten years ago to be a local, tenant led, charitable organisation to take over Scottish Homes in the Dundee area.
We now have around 1,800 homes for social rent, of which about 300 are sheltered housing.
We have worked constantly to maintain and improve the standard of our tenants homes and are very proud of the fact that we put more money per home into this than almost any other Housing Association in Scotland. We are also very focussed on giving our customers value for money, and are proud that our costs in administering and managing each home are among the lowest in the land.
In the past few years we have successfully built over 100 high quality, energy efficient new homes for social rent, and have more under construction at present.
In a rapidly changing world, we see putting the tenant first as being the key to our success. In this we try at all times to:
