Action for Children – Arthurstone Terrace

Abertay works in partnership with Action for Children to provide accommodation for care-experienced young people at Arthurstone Terrace.
Action for Children offers targeted support to vulnerable and socially excluded young people aged 16-21 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Their aim is to reduce homelessness through a range of interventions. Including housing advice, conflict resolution, education in schools, group work and personalised support.

They are committed to providing:

• A welcoming and accessible service that respects and values each young person as an individual
• Professional, non-judgemental and confidential support in a safe and comfortable environment
• Partnership working with young people, and when appropriate their families, employers, and other organisations
• Information and guidance to help young people to make informed, healthy decisions

Action for Children‘s wider mission is to protect and support children and young people, offering the protection and practical help they urgently need while campaigning for lasting positive change.
