Remember, remember the fifth of November
In the build up to Guy Fawkes night, we bring to our residents’ attention that, sadly, there has been a spate of sporadic wilful fire raising across Dundee Estates.
By taking a few sensible precautions, we can help to prevent what should be an enjoyable time on bonfire night from becoming a frightening event and a mega busy time for the fire brigade. Please therefore do not leave wheelie bins out on the street after they are emptied and secure them as best as possible. This will help prevent them being stolen for the mindless purpose of being set on fire or ending up on bonfires.
Report fly tipping, or suspicious build-up of any potential pyres either to Police Scotland or directly to our office and of course, remember to look after your beloved pets as they can become very alarmed and distressed at this time of year.
Your co-operation in these matters is very much appreciated to help ensure all our residents have a memorable fun time.
Our aim is that by focusing on the safety of both you and your neighbours it is indeed a night to remember, for all the right reasons! Enjoy!
