How to apply

Abertay is a member of Dundee City Council’s Common Housing Register.  The Register is a combined waiting list of applicants looking for housing with social housing providers in the city.

This means that you only have to complete one housing application form. You can choose as many or as few landlords as you wish and as many areas of the city you would like to be housed in. If you are unsure of the type of housing you would like, then the application form has guidance to help you choose, along with a map of the letting areas and where they are located in the city.

Further housing option information is available here.

We are happy to help you with your housing options if you are unsure. Please contact Customer Services on 01382 903545 for assistance with completion of an application or advice on letting our homes. You can email us with any queries on customerservice@abertayha.co.uk.

Other Registered Social landlords provide accommodation in the city. You can apply directly to them. Further information is provided here.

Housing in Kingoodie.

Abertay has a very small number of homes in the Kingoodie area. They rarely become available.  If one should become available we will allocate it from the Perth and Kinross Council Common Housing Register.  This is because the local authority for Kingoodie is Perth and Kinross Council.  Allocations will be based on the level of need an applicant has in accordance with the Perth and Kinross Common Allocation Policy.

Information on how to apply with Perth and Kinross Council can be found here.
