Abertay Housing Association held its twenty fourth AGM on Wednesday 16 September 2020 but, due to coronavirus restrictions, we were required to hold it virtually.
We were delighted that a number of our members were able to join us as we trialled the technology of a Zoom meeting. A recording of the meeting is available here (use the password ‘AbertayAGM20!’). The formal business was carried out as normal albeit the Speakers were reporting from their office, living rooms or home office. There included the report from the Chair, Chief Executive and a presentation of Annual Accounts. In accordance with the rules, three Committee Members were required to stand down and they were all re-elected. Details of current Committee Members can be found here.
It was obviously disappointing that we could not hold our traditional AGM where the buffet and entertainment add to the event but we hope to be back next year when we will celebrate our twenty fifth event.
As a thank you to those members who attended the AGM, and are not on our Management Committee, we carried out a Prize Draw and the lucky winners have received a £50 gift card for a store of their choosing.
